There's much talk recently about "beta." Adobe Photoshop CS3 has been in beta for awhile, Blogger just came out of Beta. Even Yahoo IM for Mac is in Beta.
I read a post today about how good blogs are really thoughts in beta. It's a "place for trying out ideas and refining them." Ideas that are still in beta.
Well, I'm taking that one step further. I think I'm still in beta myself. Personally. As a human being. Wikipedia describes beta as:
"Unstable and not yet ready for release."
"Beta versions stand at an intermediate step in the full development cycle."
"The testers report any bugs that they found and sometimes minor features they would like to see in the final version."
Well, let's just say I've got a lot of bugs. I'm broken. I daily mess-up. There are a lot of things I'd like to see in the final version of Mandy, and it's a journey to get there. So I'm just chipping away at it. A day at a time. Trying to be who God created me to be, and seek out His guidance and wisdom for my life.
Be patient with me...I'm still in Beta.

i think we'll be out of beta when we reach heaven mandy =) this life is temporary and all we can do is strive to be that full non-beta version. then when Jesus comes back for us, we'll be renewed and refined and out of beta!
;)
Doesn't that sound great? Renewed. Restored. Yeah!
Such a good point!
